For most bunion sufferers, bunions exist in a state of constant inflammation, either jammed into fitted shoes with pointed toes and an ill fit. If the degree of the bunion deformity is extreme, almost any shoe will rub the bony nubs into a red and raw fit. For some people, inflammatory arthritis is the direct cause.
Dietary Approach to The Formation of Bunions
Everything is good in moderation therefore by eliminating food that encourages inflammation to the body like: sugary soft drinks and food, junk food, and white or refined flour can best help prevent bunion pain.
Below are food items that are filled with anti-inflammatory properties (just to name some):
- Leafy Greens – kale, spinach, lettuce
- Omega – 3 fatty acids
- Onions, garlic, ginger
- Bell peppers
- Grape seed extract
